01 / The Problem or Idea

Traditional slide decks often feel flat during live student keynotes. I wanted my talk—'Your Skills Are Worth Money'—to feel like an interactive digital experience that students could also revisit on their phones.

02 / Purpose

Deliver a memorable keynote presentation unpacking how students can identify, package and position skills they already have.

03 / My Exact Role

Wrote the keynote narrative, designed the visual flow (from an 8h 42m mobile screen-time hook to real LinkedIn positioning makeovers), and deployed it as a live web app.

04 / Key Decisions

  • •Opened with a relatable 'Weekly Screen Time Report' visual before contrasting it with skill monetization.
  • •Included side-by-side 'Bad vs. Good' profile positioning examples to make the advice concrete and actionable.

06 / Lessons Learned

Designing a presentation as a website lets you control pacing, typography and interactivity far beyond standard slide templates.
