Empowering students in Lagos public secondary schools through technology, hardware and innovation.
01 / The Problem or Idea
Public secondary schools house the majority of youth in Lagos, yet students often lack access to the hardware kits, mentorship and innovation platforms readily available to private institutions. Talent exists everywhere, but access does not.
02 / Purpose
Create a transparent, accessible digital hub for students, teachers, government stakeholders, sponsors and volunteers to participate in the 2026 Pilot Challenge and 2027 Innovation Fair.
03 / My Exact Role
As Convener of Innovation Fair Lagos, I shaped the programme narrative, structured the multi-page architecture (About, Convener, Program Roadmap, Eligible Schools, Government Alignment, Financial Impact & Registration), and built the web platform.
04 / Key Decisions
- •Structured dedicated pathways for Students (project exhibition), Teachers (STEM club registration), Volunteers and Corporate/Government Partners.
- •Grounded the competition curriculum around the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) using practical IoT and hardware kits.
