01 / The Problem or Idea
For a speaking event on how digital products can change your life, a standard presentation template couldn't capture the playful, bold energy of the stories being told.
02 / Purpose
Build a custom browser-based slide deck with bold editorial typography, hand-drawn accents and smooth keyboard controls.
03 / My Exact Role
Designed the 26-slide visual system and built the React slide controller with responsive aspect-ratio scaling and keyboard navigation.
04 / Key Decisions
- •Implemented dynamic viewport scaling (1920×1080 canvas scaled smoothly to any screen) so layouts never break on projector screens.
- •Added keyboard listeners (Arrow keys, Space, Enter) and a built-in print stylesheet so all 26 slides can be exported cleanly with Ctrl+P.
